What is MonCasierFrais's new ideas tool?
In keeping with MonCasierFrais's commitment to continuous improvement, our new collaborative ideas tool is built for automated locker operators. Let's look together at what “ideation” means and how we've designed this tool for you.
MonCasierFrais's ideas and tracking tool: definition
The definition of ideation is simple: it's the creative process that lets an idea be imagined, developed and shared. The ideation process works in 3 distinct but complementary stages:
- The idea generation phase, meaning the moment it's first thought up.
- The development stage, which involves designing and putting the idea into practice.
- The communication phase, which lets us inform as many people as possible once the new feature is available.
A collaborative tool for automated locker operators
For several months, we'd wanted to give all operators of our automated lockers a co-creation space. The goal is simple: to build a digital space where you can suggest improvements for:
· Our smart lockers.
· The MonCasierFrais Locker Management Application.
· Our self-ordering kiosks.
As operators of MonCasierFrais's automated lockers, you're best placed to tell us what could be improved, or which innovations we should develop and put in place. This ideas space is here so you have a real say!
The “Ideas” tab: driving collective innovation
The “Ideas” tab forms the basis of our new co-creation tool. This is where you can suggest an innovation or improvement. You'll also find suggestions from other MonCasierFrais automated locker operators here.
Each idea includes:
- A title that sums it up.
- A description explaining it from start to finish.
- One or more themes, to sort the idea into a specific category.
- A status: being tested, in development, not planned, rolled out, etc.
- A number, showing how many votes the idea has received.
Remember, the ideas tool is collaborative. You can see other operators' ideas, and they can see yours. You can vote for the ideas you find interesting, helping us see which ones need closer attention.

The Roadmap: track the progress of your idea live
The “Roadmap” tab, available in our new ideas space, sorts all the ideas submitted by our automated locker operators. But not just any way! They're sorted by status, which we mentioned above. To keep it simple, there are 6 statuses, each corresponding to a stage in how an idea is considered:
1. Future: the idea will be added later; it's not a priority compared with other suggestions.
2. Coming soon: the idea will be introduced shortly.
3. In development: our developers are currently bringing it to life!
4. In testing: we're checking it works properly and fixing any bugs.
5. Rolled out: your idea has successfully passed all previous stages and is now live on our automated lockers.
6. Not planned: the suggestion wasn't taken forward.
Simple and transparent, the co-creation space's roadmap helps you understand, at a glance, how the various ideas are planned.

In short, we explain how our digital tools are evolving with full transparency. How often we post varies depending on how much there is to share, but a new update goes up roughly every 10 days.
