A family business, from father to son
Founded in 1996 by a family of cheese refiners from the Chablais region, Fromagerie du Noyer first operated at various markets across Haute-Savoie before gradually opening physical shops in the region.
Over time, the creamery's teams have distinguished themselves through their ability to build strong relationships with local cheesemakers, producers, and refiners. This personal approach has allowed them to source the best regional cheeses for resale, such as Abondance, Tomme de Savoie, Swiss Gruyère, and Berthoud.

Eight points of sale open in 2025
After starting out at markets in the Chablais region, the creamery opened its first physical store in 2011 in Evian-les-Bains (74). This new location was a resounding success, quickly establishing the cheese shop as a local favorite among the people of Savoy. Since then, 7 other stores have opened in:
- Saint-Paul-en-Chablais, on the Route des Allobroges;
- Saint-Gingolph, at 35 rue Nationale;
- Cluses, at 5 Place du Crétet;
- Thonon-les-Bains, at 8 Grande Rue;
- Annemasse, at 1 rue de Genève;
- Morzine, at 9 Route Départementale de la Crusaz;
- Douvaine, at 2 rue des Vignes de Bachelard.
Online ordering and Click & Collect service
In June 2025, Fromagerie du Noyer launched a new Click & Collect service. Customers can now place an order on the cheese shop's online store and pick it up at the Saint-Gingolph shop between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM or between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
In addition to all the cheeses available in-store, customers can also purchase:
- A selection of hams and cured meats typical of the two Savoy regions and Switzerland;
- sweet or savory local products.
Adding a multi-product vending machine in Saint-Gingolph
